Trying to use the MPX that I have because I want to love Moto!

I have downloaded some great images (jpegs) but can't locate them once I download them. Also, because I can't find them I can't put them into my caller ID.

Any help? Thanks!

You can see the folders by pressing Start, 9,9,1 or try downloading the pictures using the Active Sync. When you click on the "explore" button, it opens a windows explorer session where you can see all of the folders on your phone.
I don't have my phone and/or manual handy, but I know the manual tells you which folder to put the files into for ringtones (Apps/Sound ?), and I think it does for picture ID. If not, it should be fairly simple to determine.

Here are the instructions:

1. Move the pictures into the Storage/My Documents/My Pictures folder
2. Open the Photo Album
3. Move to the picture you want, hit menu, and scroll WAY down and click on "Attach to Contact".
4. Select the contact you want the picture associated with.

That should do it.

Instead of downloading them, move them over using the "explore" function in ActiveSync (and my previous instructions). That way you'll know exactly where they are. BTW, in order to paste the pictures, you have to open the folder first.

Hope that helps.

And how did you download them? I still can't receive documents or send e-mail (text messaging works).

I can try that I guess.

I downloaded the images through a pay site. In this case it was MatrixM.com. I've always been able to download from that site on other phones and I did successfully download ringtones and they just automatically loaded into the right spot in the phone.

I like this site because you can create an image and/or ringtone locker that allows you to store your purchased items on their site for later access..... so, if you change phones but not phone number you can pull your stuff out at anytime.

Thanks for your advice and I'll keep trying!
