what does it mean when the voice dial is "speaker-independent?
everyone raves about the voice dial being speaker independent, but what does this mean?

I'm not sure what that means but I do know that your voice doesn't have to be trained in order to use voice dial. If she doesn't get it right then you say no and she'll attempt again. Usually she gets it right though even in the noisiest environments.

its along those lines. not only do you not have to train your voice, but a buddy of yours can pick up your phone and say "[name in phone book]" and it will work for his/her voice as well. That's where i think 'speaker independent' comes from, it works regardless of who's speaking into the phone...just a guess on that part tho.

Yeah you can have it. I'm going to go ahead and retract it. It isn't worth that much of my college tuition. Nice job on sliding in there though, I had just got off the computer to go watch the simpsons and I checked my email using soda pop so I had to come back and bid again.

I have so much fun playing wiht my V710. I was in the mall the other day walking around. I went to the verizon shop and was like "you have a leather case for this phone". Guy looked at it and was like "holy **** how the hell you get that". We joked around and I let him play with it. Be the envy of all the tech geeks in your area.

Too late, lol, I already retracted my bid. I have money to throw around but $1000 for a phone is just to much. I'd rather buy a new laptop or something. I can buy it for retail when it comes out for half that price. Also just to let you know I contacted the seller a couple of times on pictures and contents of the phone and he only responded once. Good luck though.
