Ring tone from the v710 movie

I read the forums a few weeks ago and someone was looking for the ring-tone in the v710 promo video if that person is still looking for that drop me a note .
I stripped the audio of the the movie for a 10 sec mp3 of the ring tone.

I believe reading the forums you can rename it .qpc and put on phone by trans-flash it should repeat.

let me just say Umm yikes. That ringtone is one of the phone's standard ringtones. What really scares me is that you figured out how to rip and encode, but coulden't find a standard ringtone.

Someone thought the same as you elec_engineer but it is a different tone or just alot of over lay on a standard tone so you may be part right. But someone had asked for it so I thought I would be a nice guy and help them out.

Sorry I stand corrected. are you posting it somewhere? I haven't heard of renaming anything to .qnc or whatever it was. it repeats mp3s fine. if it doesn't repeat there is a time error with the mp3. If you have this problem notice that even though it plays it does not go back to stop after it plays.

.qcp I read on a post that this is how to get the mp3 to repeat I have not done it just repeating what I had read to get a mp3 to repeat. If you could try it that would be so cool. If not I can just put edit the mp3 to be longer but I was thinking that with it 10 sec someone could use it as a text message alert or something. I do not have a place I would want to post it but will e-mail it to you. If you would like.

i guess its not real, totally custom composed and overdubbed for the short film - i'm sure someone can recreate it somehow...

What happens if a mp3 ringtone is longer than 30 secs? For example, if a file is 50 seconds will the phone accept it as a ringer and only play the first 30 seconds or will the phone reject it completely? I do not have software that will permit me to take the first 30 seconds and dump the rest. And, I don't have my TF yet (expecting next week).
