HS810 functionality questions
It would appear the manual does not agree with operation of the unit so I ask:
Which profile does the 710 support, "Hands Free Profile" or "Headset Profile"
If you run down the list on pg 15-16, Dial a number works like the Headset Profile, but Redial a Number works like Hands Free Profile.
Also, I cannot put a call on hold using the HS810 as implied I can in the manual.
Lastly, is there any way to stop it from answering an incoming call just from opening the boom - i.e. I want to put it on my ear THEN answer the call, but in order to do that I must open the boom first. So now I have an answered call before the headset is even on my ear and I'm talking as I'm putting it on - very frustrating. The manual implies that this can hap...

umm. it doesnt take teh call ASSSSSSSSSSSS SOON as u open the boom. there is like a 3 second delay. plenty of time to start talking once its on your ear.. unless ur retarded and dont know how to put it on.. i swear some people are so freakin picky.

Both the V710 and the HS810 support both profiles. My understanding is that the devices default to the "better" of whatever is available. In this case most of the handsfree functionality works, but as you noted not all. Not unexpected considering this is Motorola.
