Any known solution to the volume issue when you are talking on the phone? When it is noisy I can't hear the person I am speaking to.

Use the opcodes...
First, to enter the opcode screen, press Menu + 048263 + *.
This will bring you to a box prompting you for an opcode. Before you can enter any codes, it will be necessary to suspend the phone. To do this, enter 54* and press OK. The display will go black and the phone will be suspended. Press the camera button on the outside of your phone to turn the back-light back on. You should see "SUCCESS" on the screen.

No, enter digits one after the other but you have to do them pretty quick for it to work otherwise you get passed to "Git It Now".

Hey I just got as far as success on the screen but nothing after that what next from success I went straight into 5*0*15 after that what is the correct entry

I keep attempting to do this and when I press the End button it will just bring me back to the menu. I tried to hold the End button and i shut off the phone with no change. If I press o.k. I get a error 3 message, I thank anybody for their help with this.

I'm stuck on this step too. I press in the 5*0*15* code and then try to push end and nothing happens. Can you describe this step a little bit more???? Thanks, Jen

from the Opt screen enter in 54*5*0*15, I did this and got no change but the phone stated it was successful. Good luck 🙂

ive done it as well i tried to show people how to do it earlier but they kept having problems.... anyway it works MUCH better and now i can drive with my window down and still hear the call clearly!

That was happening to me too. You've got to do it in one quick, smooth motion to not trigger GIN.
Memorize the numbers and enter the string all at once, no stopping. That's how it worked for me.

I get as far as the "success" screen following the 54* and the outside camera button. After that point, nothing seems to happen. What are the exact steps I need to do at that point? Thanks for your help! 😁

right soft key (I think, i'm out of the kiosk, whichever softkey is "affirmative" sounding. then it'll take oyu back to the opcode screen where you can continue.

ya but no real change in volume, has anyone figured out how to hack the SEEM file like in P2kman, I can not get it to recognize my V710 or maybe someone has figured out the PST solution

I noticed a definite change in volume. It's still not as loud as some other phones, but 5 is now as loud as 7 used to be. 🙂

Yes. When you're connected to a call, use the left up/down side keys to adjust the volume.

ok one final question
After you enter the OPT Code and Get Success, what key do you hit to get out of the menu and make sure the OPT Code took
If you hit back and Cancel does that not take out what you just did for the OPT Code
