I hate to say it, but if you're not using Bluetooth, then there's no real, true advantage of the v710. Too bad you haven't considered using a wireless headset... I'm complet...

I can tell you that BlueTooth is extremely useful for wireless headsets.
Also - when they finally enable BT for file transfer - that will be fantastic.
I know a lot of people appreciate the ability to take Movies with sound. Lots of people also like the ability to listen to MP3's. And lots of people like that these can be stored on a removable TF card that allows you to have multiple TF cards (unlimited storage), and the ability to put things onto your PC.
I think the phone is also very user friendly with regard to menus and customization.
They cold have done a lit...

Personally, I'm still on the fence about this phone. I have not purchased one yet. I'm waiting to see how some of the dust settles regarding the rumored firmware flash (rumored to be available in the next few weeks) and what it will do for some of the posted problems.
I need a trimode and really like the feature list. The feature combination IS unique to this phone. Like you, I have little use for BT. I doubt I will spend $80 for the headset (have a wired one I really love) and see little use for the wireless speaker because the phone has a speakerphone feature built in (and most seem to like it). I would get the TF card and to use the PC Sync I would need to get either the USB with Phonetools or the BT USB adapter (currently...

They cold have done a little bit better with some menus (for instance - after viewing a picture, the "back" button brings you to the TOP of the picture list... so you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were if you want to see the next picture.
I've seen this mentioned before, elsewhere. Have you tried using the up/down navigational keys to look at the next/previous picture rather than using the "back" button? Makes it a lot easier to look at several pictures in a row.
Slightly annoying... but not nearly annoying as the earpiece - which is NOT LOUD ENOUGH (I can't stress this enough - it's only the most important part of a phone - being able to hear the other person)

LOL!!!!
I kinda hate to say it, but if you don't use bluetooth I don't think you need a V710. Can you return it, get something cheaper, and use the extra money toward something else?

Then why didn't you get a different phone. The one thing that sets the v710 apart from all other VZW phones at this time is Bluetooth. So buying this phone without having any plans at all to ever use the Bluetooth, isn't that like buying a convertible and not planning on ever driving with the top down?
If I were you I'd take the phone back and get something more to your needs. (although you really should investigate either a Bluetooth headset or the HF8000 Bluetooth speaker/mic)

Thnx... 😁
