Bluetooth 820 Won't Bond w/710
Can't get my Bluetooth HS820 to bond with my V710. 😢
I followed the directions, VZ store rep followed directions...7-yr old (who can program anything) followed directions and NADA bonding.
Any insight or tips before I spend time calling VZ Tech Services?
Maybe I changed a setting I shouldn't have when I first got the phone. If I do a Master Reset will I lose my contact list?

Does the light on the HS820 stay on solid blue when you are trying to pair them?
If you master reset, everything on the phone is lost.

Thanks for the responses folks. I went to Moto's site and figured out what I was doing wrong. I didn't hold the headset power button down long enough for the light to go solid.
Moto's instructions:
"From the off position press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds. The unit will flash at 3 seconds to show power on and will go solid at 5 seconds to indicate that the unit is searching for devices. Put the master device in pairing mode and follow the manufacturers’ instructions to bond. When prompted for a security code enter “0000”. When pairing is successful the headset will flash rapidly approximately 10 times."

I'm having trouble linking the HS820 to the v710 as well -- Making sure the Bluetooth is on and the HS820 on as well, the phone has never been able to detect the headset.
Anyone have any solutions for this problem ? ( Moto tech support isn't 24hrs and after waiting eons for bluetooth, this is aggravating...)
