Is anyone else unable to get onto www.vzwpix.com???
I tried sending an mp3 to my phone through it two days ago and still haven't received it. Called up VZW and they blamed it on high traffic. So frustrating, I just wanna successfully play one mp3 on my friggin phone already!!!

They were having problems the other day. Mine took a few hours, then their site was down completely. Today I got them in less than 5 minutes.
Try sending again.

Question for you. I've emailed myself the files but there is no attachment? I get a message that says "I have a picture message vzw pix.com" but nothing comes to the phone. Are you guys downloading them from Mobile web or from the messages icon?

they come straight to the phone.....you get a message like that when your not setup for pix messaging..

Still confused. I spoke with VZW and read the threads on this site. Any phone capable of receiving a picture message, my v710, should receive a picture message for 25 cents per message without a plan and no set up is necessary.

does the pic messenging work like text? i know that for some of my friends they weren't able to receive text messages (plan or not) w/o calling verizon and telling them to turn it on for them..just wondering if pic mess was the same deal

It is, usually, when signing up for a plan, they ask you if you would like to enable pix/txt messaging on your phone. Sometimes they forget and don't enable it.
