Battery life poll
Depends on how much I use the cool features like photo, video, web. If I just use the phone for calls it lasts awhile but otherwise it's dead in about 1-3 hours

I've had no complaints on the battery yet. Had the phone since the the morning of the 11th and I've just had my secnd "low battery" alarm a few hours ago. I haven't used the phone ALOT, but enough to the point I would have expected more recharges. I tested out more than a few features and used the Bluetooth on maybe 10 calls totalling at least a half an hour.
I also must note I have most things set for the best possible battery life, including keypad tones off (who needs them?).

Thanks for the replies so far. This should give us a good idea about what to expect. I've been using my phone quite a bit, plus taking some pics, using speakerphone some, trying out mobile web once in a while and I am currently getting around 24 hrs before it gives me the low battery indicator. I've noticed that once one of the battery bars is gone, the battery seems to die at a faster pace. Anyone else experiencing that?

yep...started happening to me after owning this phone a little over 2 weeks...

I can't say that, but I have noticed that on Battery Meter (Main Menu>Phone Info>Battery Meter), even though it has 6 possible "bars" on the meter, it's either on 6, 4 or 2. I've never seen a 5, 3 or 1.

Had it for about a week and it only seems to last about twelve hours. I have noticed the bars on the little battery...
3 bars for about 8 hours

my battery life seems to be only like a few days. i use the speaker phone quite some. i guess i have to stop using it to save battery huh? is there anything i can do to do more battery saving? i don't know about keypad tones. i turn off the screen, no screensavers...maybe i'm just going crazy tho, i don't know. I guess speakerphone contributes to the battery life a lot huh?

Mine normally last for 3 days or so!!!! And that is even after doing the SD flash... still seems to be the same!!!

In about a 14 hour day off the charger with bluetooth enabled and 30-60 mins of phone calls etc my battery still shows 3 bars (6 in the detailed information).
You probably have a bad battery.

Here's another thing to consider when talking about battery life. When you're in an analog only area, the battery will be depleted at a MUCH faster rate than when you're in a digital area. You don't even have to be talking for this to occur! I can't even get a full day on standby in an analog area -- but get 4 days or more of standby in an all digital area -- all with the standard battery.
