No bluetooth file transfer working on V710! I need help!

OK,

Sooooooo, I get this beautiful phone and when I try to sync the bluetooth for transfer of files it says the phone does not support this option. Thats crap! One of the reasons I bought this phone is to transfer pics and MP3's via bluetooth. This sucks. The only options that are working with the bluetooth are Dial-up networking and hands free voice gateway. Lame! I will not tolerate this BS for my new baby!

If you know something I don't let me know.

Thanks scoopers,
Jeff

I received a response from Motorola the other day about this:

-original message-
Thanks for contacting Motorola E-mail Support Division,

Regarding your question, the patch that Motorola is currently developing will be available as a courtesy to customers who own the V710. The upgrade would be available in Sept/04. The way it is going to be distributed has not been announced yet.

For further assistance please contact our Software Support division at 1-877-331-6456 directly at ext. 2237. Our operation hours are from 8 am to 7 pm CST.

Yes. VZW had Motorola disabled this or rather had it postponed to encourage people to use their pay services. Complain to Verizon, not Motorola. And I do think think you have a right to complain, if not return the phone.
