VGA Camera same as 1.2 Megapixel???

Silver TT

Can someone answer this for me? I see the motorola V710 advertised as a 1.2 megapixel camera while almost everyone else calls their's a VGA camera.

My experience is that a VGA camera will get you print quality 640 X 480 prints. So is the 1.2 megapixels better or about the same?

Thanks,

Dan

Multiply the numbers. 640x480 is what is known as VGA and 300K Pixels or 0.3MP's. The V710 is 1280x960 which is XGA+ resolution or three times more pixels in the same area.

Don't know yet. I'm still trying to catch up with the phonescoop messages and will wait a little. My v60c still works. I did get to try my friends phone and I guess the phone isn't that bad except the earpiece is identical to my v80 and just like the v60 and v80, you have to position it correctly. I guess the other thing is that plastic has a different feel to it than metal like the v60. Maybe I should think of the Plastic as Titanium because that's how it feels.
