V710 Reg question
I registered at 1:30pm Central time. I put the HEX number instead of the DEC number. Will that be a problem? Should I re-register? Was I late registering? Is ESN the same as HEX number? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Re-register and cross your fingers. The site said "ESN (DEC)" IIRC, so they want the decimal version.

You are fine. Hex is just another way of getting the esn. The same goes for Dec. If they input the hex, it will show them the dec. Dont worry about it. I say this because I'm VZW cust. serv. rep. I deal with this everyday 😁

You're an enlightened rep. I wouldn't put much faith in the people who brought you the registration debacle of today to consider hex vs. decimal...particularly when they asked for decimal (at least they did when I filled it out).

No worries, though. You will be fine because once they punch your HEX# IN, THE DEC will populate. There is a reason why they have the HEX, especially coming straight from MOTOROLA. 😎
