On the external display of my v60 the time and date are always digitally displayed whether the phone is lit up or not. Is this the same case for the v710? I remember one thing I hated about the LG vx7000 was that the external screen would go black like the phone was off after so many moments and you would actually have to hit a button until it would turn back on.

I think its the same thing as the LG VX7000 pal. Sorry. 😢

Same here with the V710. The only way to conserve battery on thi bright color screen. 🙂

yea, is there a way to make the time longer that the screen stays on? My friend has the VX7000 and i was looking at modtonez and it shut off every 10 seconds. It takes 20 seconds to load after you search in modtonez. I had to hit a button twice everytime it was loading and it was a more pain in the @ss than porn popups on a pc that put viruses on your pc.
