Does anyone know if the v710 will come w/ a belt clip like the v60 and t720? Or will one be available to buy separately?

I don't know if the phone comes with a belt clip or not, but since they are already in the VZW warehouse, you can actually order them. They will be $14.99 + tax. VZW also has standard batteries ($39.00), wireless headset? ($79.99) I'm assuming it's wireless cuz of the price. Hope this helps

I also tried ringing up the sku for the phone to find out the price, but it would not go thru.

That 79.99 price should be for the HS810 which actaully sells for 99.99 on moto's site so that will be nice to help get more people into bluetooth at a lower price point.

banshee98, do you see one of those Verizon branded leather cases with the swivel belt clip in the VZW warehouse for the V710 like this one.

No, not yet. No leather cases, combo kits or essential packs (lc, cla & wired headset) yet. This may be what VZW is waiting for to release the phone.

That makes sense. I really want the Verizon leather case and the extended battery (if the hump is not too big). Hopefully they'll have a combo kit with both of them. I have a bad habit of dropping phones and the leather case protects it and gives it some cushion when it hits the ground. I think the CLA from my T720 will work with this phone (from what I heard the accessories are compatible).

Yeah, grey plastic belt clip, much like the v60, 90 degree rotation in either direction, front face out. As far as I know it does not have the quick release like the T720 did (as most people didn't like the bulk that added when it stuck out on your hip) more like the v60's clip.

You mentioned Aug 1 in your post about the transflash. Are you saying the phone shoudl be avail on aug 1 or the transflash should be avail that day... or both!

Thanks for the info.

No no no no no, that was just the kinda ball park that the rep told us, something like "Transflash memory should be out around the 1st of Aug..." nothing for sure, but from everything that has been released I would be surprised if we didn't have the by the 2nd week in Aug by the latest.

It will come with that OEM grey plastic POS (weakest thing about Moto phones). I suggest for what this baby is going to set you back that you "invest" in a pouch type with a belt clip attached to protect that expensive and pretty face on the phone! I dumped that "belt clip" day one after trying to unclip my T720 (and T730) and decided that it put the face of the phone "out there" too far and would get hung up on seat belts and doors and arms of office chairs.

Of you could just, you know, put it in your pocket.

Oh yeah, I forgot. You want to *show it off* ;)

Lol... you should just put it in yur pocket. It might fall off a belt clip anyway. I don't know why people are even obsessed with hanging their cell phone from their belt. 🙄
