Motorola is at fault...
I spoke with my local VZW rep yesterday - he told me the problem with release is due to Motorola being at fault.
Generally speaking, from facts in history, this seems more likely to be the problem. Motorola markets the hell out a product that it can't really deliver on time, etc.

well, I would take that with a grain of salt.
He's a VZW rep, so he'll blame Motorola before he would blame VZW. Just like a Motorola rep probably will tell you its VZW's fault.
I'm not saying he's wrong, but I wouldn't believe everything I hear.

There is a total lack of common sense. Honest to jebus here, what does calling customer service 14981984 times get you other than NOWHERE? I don't believe everything I hear, but this same scenario has played out with Motorola before. Bugs, delivery problems, etc.
So who knows.
