Motorola V710
710 on VZW Intranet
The 710 is now on one of VZWs intranet sites under Wireless Technical Service Center (WTSC) in info manager. Next to the phone it says "coming soon." This is the first time I have seen the 710 on this webpage or any of VZW's intranet sites. Could this mean the phone is coming out soon?

I have read conflicting reports. SOme web sites say it has 10mb of built in memory some say 16 mb. Does anyone know which is true?

I remember a couple of weeks or so ago (okay, way too many pages ago), someone had said there were two sides to infomanager...support and service...or something like that and that phones tend to be on one side for a while before it was released to the customer service reps...so do you know which side this is on? 😁

I just read higher up in the post and saw you told us it was on service side. Is this where it has been all along or is this the "other" side now?

The side that isn't WDTS...because the WDTS is really old news...so the other side...I don't know the name of it...I think thats why its in a post because it's something new...hope it's soon

I have access to Infocenter, and I dont know that this is the same thing, but I would assume so since I get all of that information, but I didnt see the v710 on there. I looked under equip. guide, and the newest thing there was the announcement for the date on the treo 600. Anyone have a real place that the phone is announces, or is there something else that a vendor wouldnt have that employees would have?

My assumption is, because the phone has so many new features that have not appeared on past VZW phones, that they are going to schedule training a few days in advance of the release, and usually they will notify us of the training a couple of days before that, so my guess is that there will be trainings on the phone this week for a release the next week. Again, though, that just seems to be the most logical way to do it, but it may be a quite different release.

I can't find it but I remember reading...I'm not the best source for VZW info and all that infomanager stuff...I don't work for Verizon...a VZW employee could maybe help you...sorry 🤭

Yes, it is on the VZW InfoManager site, however, that may not be the most up to date info. I have a color Blackberry 7750 sitting in the inventory room but is not on this site. The VX7000 is not listed on this site. The LG VX4500 & Samsung A670 is not listed on this site. Under the V710 link that is on there, is simply shows a pic & says "Coming Soon". 😕

BTW, I work for VZW & NO, I have absolutely no idea when this phone is due out. We were told June by our Moto rep, however that has come to prove false as every new phone seams to get delayed by a month or two.

I gotacha... Yeah, the V710 has been posted on there for awhile. I don't use that because it is rarely updated.

All these phones are in infomanger under the area homepages, not in wdts homepage as listed before. someone said the v710 was in there, and it was, however this page is obviosly not updated very often with other new phones.

The v710 has been on the intranet for the past month and a half saying coming soon in infomanager. Infomanager is supposed to be updated all the time but I only notice updates every 2 weeks or so with the last update coming at the beginning of last week and the v710 still said coming soon. No pricing, no shipments, no caption or any of the typical stuff. Just a picture and it says coming soon, that's all.

No need to be confused. No I don't work for VZW but I do have my connections so I have the passwords to the intranet along with other things.
