advertising doesn't mean anything...

I want this phone BAD. Personally, i really thought it would be available today (7/10). Well, of course, it isn't. Anyway, checking out HoFo, i came across this link:

it mostly speaks of motos delays. At the end of it, i get the impression that this ad campaign has been in planning for some time. The article acts like this is completely up to Verizon. I further get the impression that this phone was supposed to be out late June. I further think that the ad campaign was supposed to boost the phone POST-release. Makes sense to me. Advertisers might want someone to see that phone in the ad, and feel the need to get it right now... not feel the need to register on a website and w...

That's an interesting article. It's funny how they mention PhoneScoop.com. There are probably less than 100 people posting on here and it "has elicited a frenzy of interest on an Internet message board at PhoneScoop .com".
