Chance of cancellation of the V710
I really hate not having a good date to shoot for anymore. The "in" folks were giving us days to shoot for. Not anymore. Seems when this phone comes out truly is anyone's guess. I was looking forward to the 9900 also, but, from the "in" folks, that phone has been axed. Is there any real chance of this phone getting axed?

Yes there is a very good chance...I posted before that I was informed it was not being released and was attacked by a bunch of freaks who were insulting me for sharing the information I had recieved. People need to relax..it's just a phone. Second of all one of our "suits" who deals with MOTO came to our store with the phone and said she thought it was junky, referring to Motorola as her "Bastard child" who always screws up. So the phone may be complete junk. It's got great features on paper, but that doesn't always translate...keep in mind Motorolas consistent problems...Also..with the recent release of the VX7000(video phone) I would imagine that Verizon needs to run exclusively with the 7000 for a while...same thing the did with the V...

You're probably safe getting the LG VX7000 now because by the time this thing comes out, you'll be ready for an upgrade/update and something better will be avaiable.

Could you illucidate in regards to Motorola's "consistent problems"? Granted the T720 was a POS, but the Mot phones that I have used before that one were very good. This includes the DPC 550, MicroTac, 2 StarTacs, V8160 and 2 V60s. My fiancee has been using a V60c for well over a year and has had no problems at all... One stinker out of eight phones does not seem consistent to me.

Ya know it's very true that everyone has a different experience with a product or service..ex. even though T-mobile sux..to some of people it is great. And I know that everyone on here thinks that VZW sales reps don't know much, but I've now sold for every major wireless provider except Cingular & Nextel, and I have heard many many many complaints about the v60 series..from T-mob, VZW, and AT&T customers. The only phone I\ve heard more complaints about is the T720 series. My Dad has the V300 on T-mobile and hates..I've played with it and it sucks..my samsung V205 gets a stronger signal that his V300 and it feels cheap(so does the V205)..ANYWAYS...I'll shut up now
