Money Back for v710, so now what??/

The V710 has grown on me since the bad start. The firmware update and new Mobile Phone tools really helped. But I opted for the "money back" settlement, assuming that a "better" phone would be available by the time it happened...

What are people trading in for??
The RAZR? E815?

I'm not too pleased w/any of the other options VZ has.
1)none have analog.
2) I kind of like the old menu system(vs the new RED design)
3. Have been using phone as a modem via dialupnetworking for free, w/bluetooth connection All my reading of posts say that no other phone will allow this.

So is the V710 the most versataille phone around?

I have news for you man...no one got anything yet so I wouldn't get your hopes up. These things could stretch out for years...who knows when we'll finally see some dough. I opted to cash out too and I will miss the old menus but I don't think we'll be seein money anytime soon

Man Harley,

You are the bearer of bad news 😢 Would I still be entitled to a refund, if I bought a new phone? I would hope so.

Sorry I don't think you can because i'm pretty sure there was a clause in the letter that stated once a selection was made you couldn't change it...

I'm getting a Treo 650. I've wanted one ever since they came out. Two of my friends have them and they love them.

I currently carry around a Zire 72 and my 710. Soon I will be able to sell my Zire 72 and just carry around the one device.
