v710 settlement: Retail price or promotional price

I was part of the 2nd mailing, and chose option 2. I don't have my receipt, so I'll get the $200. Now, does the $200 mean we have to pay retail prices and take $200 off of that? that would suck. I bet most of us used the NE2 to purchase this expensive phone. If we have to now pay retail, that $200 leaves us only to get the "free" phones, without paying extra; which I'm sure others aren't excited about either.

Regardless, I'm only participating to get money from VZW and I plan on leaving for Cingular in Aug, when my contract is up.

Anyone know if we'll have to pay retail or not?

Basically what you will do is receive your $200 and your VZW contract will be canceled.

You can purcahse a new phone with a new 2yr contract + your $200, or goto Cingular like you said and start a contract there.

If you got it from Verizon you should be able to pull the old recipe from a Verizon Store, my friend works for them and he said he could do it, let me try and get him to pull my old recipe and than I report back to tell you how it went
