I read this and it got me nervous
"you may still object to the settlement or the request for attorneys fees and expenses by objecting in writing to the Los Angeles Superior Court, Department 24, 111 N. Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. "

Does this mean if we choose to be a part of the class action suit we may have to pay attorney fees???

No, the attorneys fees are paid out of the settlement. The members of the suit do not pay them.

No, it means that if enough people object to the attorneys fees, it could delay the settlement !

Won't happen, but you still have the right to object, or opt out of the class and try to do better on your own.

this is how a class action suit f***'s you. the company wants it to go away and lawyers want money for themselves more than helping plaintiff. so they agree to a "50 million dollar settlement" -- sounds BIG and GREAT makes the news. here is the breakdown
1) laywers take 30% = 15 million cash.
2) settlement is for 100 voucher for 350,000 people , of which only a tiny bit ever use it. therefore company pays 20 million and most of it to the lawyers.

this is the concept and why the sewttlelemtns are often doscounts on future products or insignificant cash, say 50$ cash to you, lawyers get 5 million

system sucks
