Verizon Wireless sucks! This is my only reason why I am not getting this phone. It's sad to see a bad ass phone go to such a crappy wireless provider. What a waste!

I normally wouldn't respond to stupidity but i'll do it this once. Look at the nationwide coverage maps retard! Verizon has the best service, i'll admit they don't come out with phones every 2 or 3 months but that's something we have learned to deal with. If you do your homework before signing the contract you know about Verizon and how they work. The provider is the best as far as coverage and customer service go but if you want a phone every other month hop on down to SprintPCS where you'll have a top of the line phone with...

I already have no damn service with Verizon, so I just might go to SprintPCS. Plus Verizon is notorious for screwing up, mine and everyone elses, bill. I am just tired of calling them every month to change my bill. It's such BS! Obviously, if I have to call them every month because of an error on my bill, then evidently they never Heard Me, which then the guy in the commercial saying, "Can You Hear Me Now?" is just talking to himself! 👿

You are trolling, but I'll join in.

I have service through Verizon simply because they are the only folks who *didn't* try to screw me over with billing somehow.

But, really, why are you bothering posting?

I for one believe that the phone is coming out on Friday. verizon has them in the warehouses and I believe they will be shipping them to local stores this week. I makes perfect sense to release it on Friday, people get paid on Friday, Motorola sends out the email announcement and text message Friday morning, Verizon updates their site Thursday night, Memorial Day weekend, it all makes perfect sense if you ask me. Not to mention june 1st is right around the corner and that is supposed to be another release date. The v710 is listed on Cellbrite and on Infomanager so I think it makes sense.

Not to mention that the date for all companies to enable number portability is the 24th. Woudl make sense for Verison to have some new phones for this date to entice people to come over & keep their curren tphone number. (which I'll be doing)

What do you mean about number portability and the 24th. Is the number portability all of a sudden supposed to be terminated past that date, or what...
Please clarify

Number portability is going nationwide to all markets on May 24th. Currently it is only active in the largest cell phone markets, I forget how many.

I just talked with 2 different motorola reps at two different times about the v710. I was told on a scale from 1-10 about an 8 that the phone would be released from Verizon on the imfamous 5-21 date. The other rep told me a 9 on a scale from 1-10. The 810 has been pushed back for awhile. ther is no tentative date. I know this date has been talked about for some time now. They are all keeping this phone a big secret because this is supposedly there ultimate flagship according to Verizon wireless store manager. The Motorola rep said he receives about 50 calls a day about the release date on this phone that has been in testing since the 20th century 🤣 I have been waiting for this phone for it seems like forever now. I got tired of waiting o...

🙄 I don't know if anyone has read the fine print in Motorola's 1st 710 people advertising blitz but it reads "Offer expires July 10, 2004" This lends credability to a realease date sometime soon.

Someone on HoFo claims its May 28, a Friday, just before Mem Day and that should be a payday, too. Who knows?

Unless one person is registering a bunch of names on here, I think there are too many people getting a "late" May date to claim any one of them is a liar and trying to just mess with the forum. I'm a believer that for the most part, folks are decent enough. There are just too many claims of May 21-Jun 1 to believe that isn't a date actually being thrown about by Moto and/or VZW (when you can get any of them to talk).
