Your right...unless they chgd it on this phn which i doubt...the one thing is we dont have the mp3 ringtones..I havent test this phone...but the last few phones thts are mp3 dont have mp3 ringtones..only the ones from GET IT NOW...
Incorrect, based on the Qualcomm chipset and the lastest versions on the Motorola Vxxx series this phone will have the ability to play mp3 ringtones. Any phone built on the latest editions of the Qualcomm chipset, usually phone approved after the vx6000 will have the ability to play mp3 ringtones. True, you might need the mp3 headset if you plan on sitting back and listening to your latest album converted to mp3 format but you won't need it to make ringtones.

Like i said wasnt sure if it would change on the ringtone side

I think you can listen to mp3 on the speaker OR the headphone. I also think that it's possible you can only download mp3 to the phone through GIN. There is a star next to the word "download", and at the bottom of the doc it says that is a service provider dependant feature. 😡

Well you won't be able to listen to your favorite album on your phone because of memory issues unless the trans-flash card can actually let you store it on there when they are available to be about publicly. I read that the prices on the will vary from $19.99 for 16mb to $36.99 for 128mb which isn't bad at all.
Nextly you won't be able to download a whole mp3 through GIN, only a mp3 ringtone I believe which you can ...
