Motorola V710
settlement
Question for you guys....I work for a Verizon Wireless Authorized Agent and bought this phone at retail price when it came out. I then did an esn change on my plan and was using it for quite a while, I'm now onto the LG VX8100....
I received info in the mail about the settlement, but I'm not really sure if I qualify or not. My V710 is kinda beat up now too, so let me know what you all think.

Well Dan, I say send in the form and let the v710 Settlement Admin figure it out🙂 That is unless you prefer keeping your beat up v710.

I had a V710 but was not able to take part in the settlement because I got my 710 after jan 31st 2005 but I complained to Verizon that I should not be stuck with a phone that has a class action lawsuiit against it. I simply stated to the rep " would you be happy with a car that had a major recall against it"? So they switched me out to the E815 at no charge. ;-)

Can you tell me who you talked to? The last time that I called, I sat on the phone for 30 minutes and was told that the best that they could do for me was to give me a 25% discount on a phone at regular price! Also, what number did you call?

What is the settlement for? I just purchased the V710 as an upgrade for work and have had nothing but sending and receiving problems, they sales person has had a tech do a reprogramming on it three different times in about two Weeks to no avail.

I demanded an exchange or else I was leaving after my contract was up and they immediately switched me to the E815 at no charge. It's a better upgrade. 😁
