I would consider May a dream, the way VZW releases phones.

Verizon HAS to be losing business due to releasing phones/technology easily a year behind everyone else. As someone who was interested in switching to Verizon, I am fed up with waiting for "new" phones from them just to get hit with more delays and finally end up with a product that is out of date before it even hits their shelves. WAKE UP VERIZON!!!!!!!!

sorry, Ive been holding that rant in for too long

They are losing less business than you think. Most verizon wireless customers don't even know about this site....ignorance is bliss...and thats the way they want it kept 😉

aviduzer is right. 95% of the public don't know about these web sites and don't even know what Bluetooth is. I have a friend who's been working at T-Mobile in sales since it was called Omnipoint and he doesn't even know Bluetooth is. Sometimes we (i.e. those of us who frequent these sites) forget that we represent a very small minoroty of the people using mobile phones and even though we may agree with each other that Verizon is slow releasing new phones, most customers don't care. Most people simply use their phones to make calls so they don't care about phones with all kinds of added features.

Exactly. Most people are concered about dropped calls, coverage area, and clarity of sound. If they can make or receive clear sounding calls when they want without worrying about a call being dropped, people are happy. Verizon has focused on their network while competitors have focused on other things (Internet, hardware, bells & whistles). IMHO, the Cingular/AT&T merger will force Verizon to be more competitive in these other areas.

As much as that may be true, it is ineed speculation, have you noticed an increased output of phones from VZW? Or even some comments about the phones? No. This could be true, and believe me, I hope it is, but right now its only speculation, and rational, which obviously VZW has little of.
