Sprint T608 unlocked on Verizon

I've been using an unlocked SonyEricsson T608 for 2 months on Verizon with the Bluetooth setup in my BMW. It is truly amazing to get a phone call using the car's handsfree setup while the phone is on my belt.

I'm looking forward to the V710 and will get one as soon as it's out, but I'm not holding my breath--Verizon is sooooo slow to introduce new hardware. ☚ī¸ I've got 2 brand new backup T608s, both with unlock MSL codes, for activation on Verizon. If you want infon on how to activate the T608 on Verizon, let me know. I might also be convinced to sell one of my backup phones. 😎

Does the T608 have a cemera? I'm looking for a bluetooth phone w/o a camera to use on Verizon as my customers will not let me into their facilities with a camera. If it doesn't, I would be greatly interested in how to unlock the phone.

Great! What needs to be done to make the phone work on Verizon's network?

There are a number of unlocked, brand-new T608s for Verizon on Ebay. I got mine for $255, the guy gave me the MSL and an instruction sheet, and it's worked great.

You are using this on your BMW, yes?

Have you run into any Bluetooth problems?

How hard was it to get it going?

What is your response to the large number of neg. comments about this phone on Phone Scoop?
Battery Life, if the phone goes dead, software updates? Is any of this a concern?
$255 to flush is not cheap.

yep, that's the seller. he ships out real quick, provides a nifty instruction sheet. with the msl, you call up verizon and it takes a couple minutes tops.

i'm not using it in a car, just use to sync with my computer and use a BT headset (Plantronics M3000), but i've read about ppl using it with their cars no probs. the phone has some bugs; every once in a while the BT headset will cause the phone to reboot, the battery life is so-so (1.5-2 days with 45 min of talk time or so). but if you call up SE, they send u a free battery (same one used in t610/t616) - i got one that way.

the RF is really good tho, and the BT functions are worth it. being able to sync ur contacts/appts/tasks wirelessly, using a BT headset (esp in my car), i can...
