New Firmware: Finally remove stock images?
Are we still stuck with the annoying stock animations and images that came with the phone or can we finally delete them? 😡

I find it amazing that VZW froces this kind of cr*p down their customer's throats. They block you from using your TF card to add YOUR sounds the phone (without paying them) and then force you to eat up memory with their cr*ppy graphics.

I just use Bitpim to delete those stock images. It stinks you can't just hit Menu>delete but at least you do have the option to get rid of what you want.

Just follow these directions to a 'T' and you'll be all set. Once you're connected to Bitpim, deleting is as easy a right click>delete.

I dumped just about everything stock on my phone and it freed up a ton of space.
