When I receive a voice mail message and try to receive it by pressing call, it still asks me for my password etc even though I have it programed in the phone already. Any help on this? Thanks

Goto

Message Center>Message Settings>Voicemail No.

then put your PIN info and pause/wait symbols there.

Exactly do what Dee1jay says Goto

Message Center>Message Settings>Voicemail No.

then put your PIN info and pause/wait symbols there.

So for example *86p#1234#1

(the 1234 is the 4 digit password)

(p is the pause)

This is a long-standing problem. The fix noted does not work in some regions -- for example, the washington dc area. Something about the network (at least that is the hypothesis) causes the phone to ignore whatever is in the voicemail no. setting, and just dial *86. The fix quoted does seemingly work in some parts of the country -- tennessee, for example. Very odd, and annoying.

Thanks for the reply, I thought I was going nuts. All the good people here are telling me what to do and I can't get Voicemail to work for me. Thanks again

edit your voice mail # 1 key and add the following
*86p(add pause)#(4 digit password)#1

So for example *86p#1234#1

(the 1234 is the 4 digit password)

Make sure you edit your voice mail key which is default to pressing and holding # 1 if you add the above sequence it will automatically dial your voice mail and send your password and no need to type anything in. It works great for me.
