emailing photos
why cant i email pictures to my phone from my email account?
its a regular account through .mac. It just comes up as {picture.jpeg}.
am i doing something wrong?
...
The picture might be too big to display?? just a guess. You might have to send the pics through Mail as "windows friendly". I've never tried sending a pic to my phone through email, cause I don't know the email addy of my phone. How do you find out what your email address of your phone is?
...
send your attached picture to (1your cell number including area code@vzwpix.com) ie. 1xxx-xxx-xxxx@vzwpixcom....and maybe change the file extension from jpeg to jpg.....dunno if that matters. BTW, you can always email a picture or message to your email account and then simply reply to the received message when you need to transfer items back to your phone. Hope that helps.

if you have verizon...its your number then @vtext.com
7145551212@vtext.com (or whatever your 10 digit number is)
OR go to www.vtext.com and register a profile name and then it can be YOURNAME@vtext.com
...
I think if you send it to vtext you won't get the attachment...just send a picture to your email account then you will see how it's getting routed...the picture must have to travel thru a different gateway.
...
I have no idea what that means...nor how to get to email my phone picts.

After you take a picture hit right-softkey (the key above the CLR on the pad) this will select the store option....select "send in a message" and type in ur email address...hit send...
Or go to a stored picture and hit the action key (key with the 4 lines above OK key) you will see the same options as above.
When the message appears in your email account you will see the sending address....

i've done that.....but now how to send from EMAIL TO PHONE?
...
just reply to the message you received from the phone and attach the picture you want to send....or create a new message and send it (your cell number including area code)@vzwpix.com
