You could alwyas "connect to your PC via Bluetooth." I do it all the time. This is not referring to a file transfer b/w phone and PC, but connecting as in an internet connection. I use it as a wireless modem for both my iPaq and my Notebook.

How are you able to connect with your IPAQ? I have a 2215 with bluetooth and I couldn't get it to work.

It was actually really simple. Do a search of this forum and there is a link to step by step instructions with the username and password info that you will need.

Yes, I see it also

The Motorola V710 is a phone and a whole lot more. Featuring an integrated 1.2 megapixel camera, video capture, playback and messaging to any email address, and Mobile Web 2.0, it's a phone that is designed for the way you live. And with Bluetooth wireless technology, you can make hands-free, eyes-free calls, and connect to your PC or PDA whenever and wherever you want.

I'm wondering if this is a newer version. If so, and it's just the software update, than make sure it's done and try to connect to your computer.

Wow-
I've posted on this at least 3 times now...One of them is part of this thread.

That Motorola quote is NOT NEW. It has been there since the phone was released and is NOT RELATED to the potential software upgrade, nor does it have anything to do with syncing b/w v710 and PC or PDA.

"Connecting" = Wireless Internet Connection.

Actually, goatass, if you notice my response to you was actually intended to asnswer your question. The response to the other guy, to which you are referring, sounds that way because he did not even read the other responses in this thread (where I had already answered this) before asking.

Believe me, I've done some searching on here and I know how futile it can be.
