Nokia 6620
6620 cancelled??????
I've seen on howardforums that some are saying the 6620 might be cancelled? Anyone have any info? I really hope its not true.

I was on the phone with Nokia today and they told me it was currently in production, however I take that with a very large grain of salt.. That being said, I cannot imagine the reason to cancel the phone, and if they did there must be a dreadful flaw with it to throw away all that work on it and agreements with ATT etc to sell it..

I still think it's comming out. It is not expected till the end of June any way, so there is still time before everyone should really be worrying. Also I have heard from to many at people at cingular saying that the 6620 is comming. And I have heard an awful lot of people saying that is going to also be comming out for ATTWS. 🙂

In October ATTWS = Cingular. ATT is anxious to get back into wireless and will re-sell other providers services. Probably non-GSM. Wouldn't be surprised if we never see this from ATTWS.

My wife works for AT&T Wireless and they met last week with a Nokia rep. The 6620, 7610, and a few other phones were mentioned as being released very soon! Also, Nokia is set to release a few phones next week.

Indeed! Not only is the t637 (SE) out today but I was in the ATT store near me and they had the displays etc for the 6620, T637, 6560 and a samsung.. I guess in the next two weeks they will be in stores Sweet

😉 I work for AWE & saw the product road map. This phone should be out towards the end of July. I have played with it at a couple of Nokia events & its really cool.

at&t wireless silly 😕 the phone is rumoured to be around $475. Yeah its a little pricey but hey your getting your moneys worth. hopefully there some rebate or something
