LG VX-7000
Just got back from the local Verizon store...
and I got to mess around with VX7000. I must say I was not impressed. It feels so cheap in your hand. I had been looking forward to it coming out since the beginning - so this really sucks. The external display only lights up when you hit a button - otherwise it's black. Even when it does light up the text is so small it's hard to see. After seeing echo's comparison pix with the v710 I started to change my mind about which phone I wanted about a week ago - today was only closure for me on the VX7000. The v710 does look better and I know it will feel more solidly built in your hands. Plus it's trimode and has bigger, better looking internal/external displays. You came to a quick conclusion. The 7000 external display is better than 710's also its not hard to press a button to see screen (the screen turning off makes battery last alot longer) and the writing is HUGE...I for one think it has better build quality than the 6000 i had...all the buttons actually light up fully..camera is better quality...vibrates on quitest to loundes volume of ringer all you have to do is turn vibrate mode one...intuitive menu (a child could use it) Any many more things I love...Over all if you "liked" the 6000 you will "LOVE" this phone.
