I just called about this and was told before XMas and it will be 150$ either after rebate or the 150$ will be the asking price.

WHat is the point of making this phone? It is exactly the same as the v500, but no bluetooth. No bluetooth or infrared for data transfer makes no sense.

cheaper alternative for ppl who dont care about bluetooth or IR. YOU KNOW the v600 is going to be at least $100 more; just for bluetooth.

That is what they sell the cable for! It is not "rocket science". I have been doing it on my v60s for years. The new version of Motorola Phone tools is really great. Plus a cable is so much more reliable.

I went over to my local Cingular Store in Northern Virginia and they didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the $100 discount for a long standing customer. Also the manager said he thought the price would be 150$ before the 50$ rebate. Does anyone have clarification on this? Thanks!!!

i happen to work for a carrier of this phone.. my educated guess would be retail: $350, 1yr: $250 after rebate 2yr: $200 after rebates... as introductory... its one of the most high end phones we will offer. I recieved my motokit (dummy phone and info) so i expect the phone in stock by january 1st if not sooner.

the same. If you renew your agreement for 2 yrs, u can get that price on the phone. right now we are not currently doing a trade in rebate on it.

HELLO!!! I GOT MY 400!!! Already available in Seattle...(No one must have seen my earlier post...) THAT was the good part..got the phone on Friday about 4pm...waited for the porting to be done to Cingular from AT&T...waited all Friday evening....waited all day Saturday....Waited Saturday evening....Waited all day today (Sunday) no service..MANY phone calls, EACH DAY- everyone playing dumb, but I think AT&T goes home for the weekend with their heads imbedded FIRMLY between their buttocks....still playing with my nifty V400...NO service...If they don't get my service up and running by noon on Monday,I'm filing a complain with the FCC....

I went on the cingular website and even though the phone is out in some states; the phone does not show up under any of the zip codes one would list to find the phone available. Even in "seattle." Cant wait till tuesday....... btw... does anyone know an unlock code to a samsung s307?

also, there are no additional discounts for exsisting customers ad opposed to new customers right now. they're talking about it but not as of right now. if the customer is eligible to upgrade, then they can recieve the same deal as a new cust, minus the activation fee.

Just heard directly from cingular that the phone will be released on the 12th of December, but it probably will not hit stores until the 14th or 15th. I'm not sure what the price will be.
