well, it depends how much you tak every day or how much you use the phone (games, calander, etc)

The standby time (if the phone is jsut on and you dont do anything with it) is about 10 days (depending on what features are turned on) the talk time is listed for I believe about 5 hours (I may be wrong though on this)

If you are justing using the phone like the average user, a few calls a day (maybe 10 minutes tops), get a couple text messages, that kind then yes, only a day is too short. But the thing is if you just got the phone, the li Ion batteries for some reason take 3 or 4 chargings to get up to full battery time.

So if you just got the phone then it is normal and should get better in a few days.

Fins is correct. The battery used in this phone does require 3-4 FULL CYCLE charges. So, as inconvenient as it may be, you'll need to FULLY discharge your battery till it goes completely dead, then charge it FULL. Repeat this about 3-4 times and you should see a big difference in the battery life (provided you don't just have a bad battery).

I was having the same problems with my phone, I did this and now I can get about 5 days of normal use out of it.

😲

Does it matter that much if you got a new battery or not?? The phone has ony been offered on Cingular for a few months so even if it isn't a new battery it still isn't that old and it did fix your problem didn't it....

the battery isn't strong enough for the phone.. they need an extended battery... if they going to do that...they need a new back. I have to get a desktop charger.. good thing I got a hookup and got an another battery.
