answering the call without opening
is it possible to answer if the handsfree kit is in the plug. basically hit the key on the side to answer if the setting is possible.

If you have an earphone/mic plugged in that has in-line button, it can be used to make or answer calls without touching the phone, just press the in-line button.
Calls will be placed by the automatic activation of voice dialing. 😁

So, you're saying with an in-line button earphone/mic, I can just hit the in-line button once to activate voice dialing? Can you tell me what do you use (model/manufacturer)? Thanks in advance for the info. 🙂

You can use one from any manufacture that has this feature. The one I use is a very inexpensive one I got at the flee market for $6 and has great sound on both ends, no name brand, just generic.
You don't have to spend a lot for one, but just check it before you buy one and make sure it suits your needs.

You can also set the phone to auto-answer with any standard headset. There is great flexibility to set the answer time (0-30 seconds)
