I just subscribed to one month of WAP 2 at MobileWeb4U and the setup instructions don't seem to take me anywhere with FSC Code, IP or portal settings on my phone. Here's how the site says to do it, but first of all, * doesn't do anything in my settings menu. Can anyone help? I just got my phone last week; has Verizon made it so I can't set up my internet through another provider?:

Timing is everything.....you MUST perform step 3 immediately after you first see your wallpaper upon powering up the phone. I had that same issue the first time I tried it.

1) Turn phone on
2) Press left soft Key (menu)
3) Press 7, * (may have to press * twice)
4) FSC Code: 000000 (six zeros), Press center 'select' key.

BTW... I just subscribed to mobileweb4u for a month to try it out.... as of right now I certainly plan on extending for the year subscription. It is much better than Verizons wireless web, and cheaper!!!

Thanks... I should've been patient and read all the way through the threads before posting that message. I've got it installed now.
