Downloading MP3s Free
Does anyone know what sites I can go to download free MP3 ringtones? I know certain sites such as Walmart charge a fee. Also, what sites provide movie clips or other things rather than just music? Thos polyphonic sounds are awful! Thanks.

You don't have to pay for the Wal-Mart downloads unless you want the entire length of the song. For the ones I've gotten from Wal-mart, all I've done is copy the preview sampling and change the format to fit my phone. You can also do this at Towerrecords.com as well...and for some they offer longer than 30 second clips. You only have to buy the music if you want the entire song...for which is pretty useless anyway if you're going to use it as a ringer...cos ringers only ring for about 30-35 seconds...

Thanks for the help with this. I am incapable when it comes to this type of thing. How do I change the format to fit my phone? I only want the songs for ringtones. I just don't want to pay for them.

Thanks! I did all of this but the message says Unsupported Content Type Application/Octet-Stream. I did hide the extensions for known fle types on My Computer. Any ideas??

You're not supposed to hide the extension file types...
