Questions (and Praise) from a Converted Skeptic
After spending two weeks in LG-6100 hell, I took the plunge last night and returned my 6100 (for the fourth time!) and purchased this phone instead. Although this unit, like the 6100, met my minimum requirements –- tri-mode capability and speakerphone –- I was nonetheless fully prepared to be disappointed....again. I had played with the phone extensively two days ago while in a Verizon store and initially thought it was not very user-friendly. I bought it because I thought if I was going to be let down again by a Verizon phone, I might as well pay as little money as possible for the privilege ($59 after mail-in rebate). I figured that I'd just endure this phone and wait until my dream phone, the Nokia 6255i, is eventually released.

1). Wallpapers: If you download a regular .jpg file to your phone, is there a way to size it so that it covers the entire screen? Or does the file need to be a certain size before you even import it to your number?

Almost any good photo editing software will let you resize an image and save it in the size you select, such a Microsoft Picture It and many others! 🙄
Check the documentation and it should also have a way to tell you the exact size of the saved image.

I just asked my salesperson for a rebate form and receipt, and she happily obliged. My rebate was $50.
