😲 i work for vzw. its been taken out of infomanager and no longer availalbe for c/s to order. once the current supply in the stores have been sold that it for them as well.

Sorry that I'm late to this party so forgive any questions I ask that have already been answered. I just bought my 9900 3 days ago after waiting 2+ years to upgrade my Motorola T720. You guys are making me feel like I just bought yesterday's technology. I like the phone so far except for two issues:
1) battery life sucks! At least with my T720 I could use the phone throughout the day and have a charge still left. With the 9900, I'm lucky if I can make it to the end of the day!
2) There is an occasional popping sound while a headset is plugged into the phone and the phone is idle. I just swapped out the [jabra] headset and still having the problem. I imagine it is a defective phone.
So, do I keep the phone or bring it back? Its ...

I don't know why you would say this phone has been beaten up and it is yesterday's technology! 😕 Currently it is the most high tech phone that Verizon has and everything on it WORKS!! 😁 Unlike the 710 and some others that are pushing new features. Just check the "User Reviews" and you will see that this phone has more 5 (highest) ratings of any phone!
Discussions on this phone should be about what it has and how to use it, not what it doesn't have or what we would like in the future! Every phone takes some getting use to and will not work like our old phone which we are very use to. Just give it a chance, you will love the 9900.
No phone will meet everyones desires and new technology will always be coming out in cell phones, cam...
