Backlighting

What's the backlighting on this phone like (white, blue, bright, dim)?
The softkeys don't seem to have any means of lighting or are they outlined?
Is the front display readable always or do you have to hit a key to get time & status?

Backlighing is "blue". The soft keys are also highlighted.

The outside front display is barely readable without back-lighting but you can always hit a side key to light it, not a problem. You can also change the look and color of the front display but it is not an important feature and set a color picture ID for the person calling. In standby it mainly only shows time and battery level anyway and there is a better and more convenient way of telling time, look at your watch! 😁

However the front display lights up whenever a call comes in and gives a picture ID if you have set one and also tells you who is calling. That's really when you need it for anyway and it works fine.
