I'd like to know how and who anyone spoke to at Audiovox support. I spoke with their tech support in Long Island and it was virtually non-existent. They knew nothing and didn't even know the phone was released by VZ.

Well, you must have been one of the unlucky ones who talked to a bad apple. When I spoke a few times to Audiovox's tech support, they were very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Sometimes you just have to hang up and call again until you get someone who knows what they are talking about. Happens a lot to me with Verizon's tech support too.
