Samsung SGH-E715 - Camera noise

I just got the new Samsung E715 camera phone from T-Mobile. Anyone know if there is a way to turn off (or turn down) that shutter sound when it takes a picture??

I have the same problem, my only thought on this is that it's non changeable on purpose to discourage stealth voyeur photos in locker rooms etc. Being that it is so small it could be concealed in a palm easily.
