I am in day 4 of my 14 day trial with T-Mobile. I had some bad issues with Verizon znd decided that I would give T-Mobile a try. So far, there are some things I like much better, (t-zones, clear signal) and some things I don't (dead zones, dropped calls) at any rate I have 2 questions that I was hoping to get some info on before my trial runs out. I have the Samsung E105 right now.

1. Does the E715 get any better/worse reception than the E105?

2. Anyone in Troy/Rochester area of MI that can give me feedback on this phone and/or T-Mobile?

Thanks a bunch!!!

Just wanted to warn you so you don't experience what I have been thru since contracting with T-Mobile. I have two E715s and love them but it took long past the trial period to ascertain my real problem -- T-Mobile didn't "come clean" about what was happening when I kept having reception and dropped call problems. I have determined that I am in marginal and non-covered areas for most of my calling efforts and was given the "run around" for several months. (I never had one problem with Verizon, by the way!) You wouldn't believe the solutions T-Mobile suggested, like leaving my home and traveling about ten miles away where I was sure to get better reception every time I want to make a call! Get out while you can and save yourself some grief ...

Tanks for your reply. It seems as though I am between the proverbial rock and a hard place here. On one hand, I have a Verizon phone that I get constant echo and feedback on. On the other hand, I get great quality but smaller service area with T-Mobile. I called Verizon customer support today and after realizing they couldn't even ascertain let alone fix my problem, they decided that my unuasable service was entirely fine and withing the contract. So, basically a big f-you from Verizon. Still waiting (over 3 hours now) for a call back from a manager.

I wouldn't hold my breath for that reply but I do feel for you -- funny thing, though, my problems were with T-Mobile and never Verizon! You wouldn't believe the hassles I have been put thru with T-Mobile and the ridiculous responses (and many promised return calls that never came). When I said at one point that I had called within the timeframe for cancelling wihtout penalty to make my initial complaint, the lady said, "But you didn't cancel then, did you?" and I replied that I had not, because I was promised that they were looking in to my problem and would be fixing it/calling me back, etc. It seems like they try to keep you going with the hope of improvement until after the time limitation and then you are stuck! Another lady said at ...
