yea im new with verizon.. and i just got this phone and i was wondering if it plays mp3s or REAL MUSIC tones like with lyrics and stuff (not the polyphonic one with just generic beats) yea if anyone has any info pls respond.

No, this phone does not have the MP3 ringers. Only the Motorola V710, A840 will have that and those phones aren't out yet.

Yes it can play "Real Music", PMD files which are a low quality mp3 so you can get voice and whatnot.... however you can only put them on the phone via the data cable and not through GIN or vzwpix...

where did you get this data cable for the a670? I didn't think there was one.

radioshack, it's the futuredial cable for the A310/A530, but it works for the this phone....

How exactly do you go about either finding songs that are already PMD files, or converting them to this type?

i would like to purchase a data cable so that i can get ringtone witht he words or voices, but i wanna know does it actually work, and if so what are the actually stepsto getting the ringer with the words on your phone. i just dont want to buy the cable and still not get the ringers i want, has anyone actually used this and has been successful?
