once you received in your phone view it, select "options" in left side, scroll down halfway to save as a sound, also yes your just like you were sending a picture which i do believe is .25.

When I view the detail of the message, the MIDI filename is listed. But when I press the Option button, my only choices are:
1 Edit
2 Delete
Nothing else. âšī¸

VZW Customer Service told me that ringtones cannot be downloaded to a phone using VZWPIX. Is that not the case?
I saved a .MID file to my desktop, logged in to VZWPIX, uploaded the file, selected it, entered my phone number in the "To:" field, and pressed the Send button.
The message arrived on my phone, but when I open it, a yellow box appears with a red X in it...and it says "Corrupted" underneath.
What am I doing wrong?
Also, does the use of VZWPIX come out of the alotment of PIX/TXT message I purchased? Or am I paying extra for this service?

What's the email address of the phone? @vtext.com?
...
I sent a message to @vtext.com and attached a MIDI file. The message arrived on my phone with the attachment, but there doesn't seem to be any way to save the attachment as a ringtone. What am I missing?
...
You have to sent file from pix place http://www.vzwpix.com/mlib/index.jsp.
I just did it. Its works đ

I'm really starting to get annoyed with this.
When I attempt to send a MIDI file from VZWPIX, the attachment says "Corrupted" when it arrives on the phone. And I've tried multiple MIDI files.
Neither can I email MIDI files directory, as others have mentioned on this forum.
We must have two different A670s than everyone else has. Help, please!

did you save the midi file on your desktop?
...
the email to your phone is your number@vzwpix.com Now when you go to yahoo etc, put that as your email make the midi an attach file (make sure you put in a subject a letter or number will do) and click send when you get it scroll to the right and it should display or just play, and remember you have to have the pix promo on your account otherwise you get squat.. unless you have a data cable..

That was it! Works great! Thanks!
Are there any published limits as to how many MID files this phone can hold and/or how much space MID files can take up? Is there a "pool" that email, MID, pictures, etc. all draws from? If so, how large is the pool?
Are MID files the primary format for ringtones? Are any other formats supported? WAV files, for instance?
Are MID files polyphonic by nature? Or are other file formats required for that?
Thanks, again!
