Verizon employee tried to talk me out of slider.........
Went to my local Verizon store tonight.....They had the sliders in stock...The guy that approached us wasn't a "salesperson" he identified himself as a "technician/repair guy went in fully prepapred to pick up a new phone for the wife.....This guy was like..... wait a couple of weeks....... you sure..you want a brand new phone ???"...."I'd wait a while and see if people hate them....the software is brand new.....plus it's digital only....if you go up north you have no coverage (we live in Michigan)".........
This cat was a total negative sell.....I wouldn't go back into that store and buy a car cord from them....
I guess it'll be interesting to hear comments on the phone until we get a chance to go to a different Verizon store to pick ...

Why do you need to vent: The "guy" was absolutely right. He was trying to help you out...you should always wait a while b4 buying a new phone...

đ i work for verizon wireless and you really need to be thanking the guy the tech guy`s get the phone's first and look at the aud 8900 you would`ve been really mad if you got the phone and it messed up even windows xp has bugs so it is wise to wait awhile but on the other hand if you like it get it it has a min 1yr warranty

I work for verizon also, the guy did do a favor by telling you that. If you did not like it then buy the phone anyway. Dont act like a little girl and get mad because he told you there might be problems. If you want someone to lie to you about things go to Sprint or Cingular and they will tell you what you want to hear.
