how can u get the verizon wireless banner off of the inside wallpaper please help. 😕

I too would love to get rid of that but I think they do it on purpose. Way back I had a phone from a carrier Verizon bought & it did not have any "banner." However, everyone I knew who later bought phones from them all stated it. 😢

According to the manual (page 109):
Banner Menu
Allows you to enter a string of up to 16 characters which display on the LCD screen.
1. Press Left Soft Key (Menu).
2. Press "9" Settings.
3. Press "2" Display.
4. Press "1" Banner.
5. Enter you banner text then press "ok".
See if this works. Unless the Verizon banner is an entirely separate part of the program, this should substitute your banner for the Verizon one.

Unfortunately, that's the "personal" banner. If you enter one of those, it shows up above the "Verizon Wireless" banner. I haven't found a way to get rid of the "Verizon Wireless" banner line. Never found out how to do that on my old Nokia either. I think it's purposely made to be very obscure or not even owner-editable.
