Digit dialing feature
My digit dial function does not work. The contact voice dial is ok. Called LG and they felt it was a defect in the phone. Does anyone else have this problem?

I just got a VX4500 on May 18 and I am having a problem with the digit dial. Everything else works great.
When I use digit dial it recites back the number I said but when I say yes to dial it cuts off the last 3 digits.
I am totally confused and plan on going back to the store to complain. Has anyone had this problem? Is it a software problem?

Had the same problem and took the phone back for another one. Seems ok now but must say I rarely use the digit dial function.

maybe it has something to do with the software update if you have the newer version? i had a 4500 with the orginal s/w version and my digit-dial worked fine...
i know there was one bug already discovered with the update, if you try to edit your voice mailbox number it won't let you use the softkey to change from 123 to ABC to add the letter T to add a soft pause. if you already added it on a phone with the original s/w version and took the phone in and updated, it won't let you change it. hopefully this is being addressed, i know some people have already made some people aware of it...
