I've been with AT&T for over 20 years...yes, Cellular One, AT&T, Cingular, and now at&t...they are hands down the fastest data network...but I hate the IPhone, and I have the backflip, but I'm going nuts waiting for some sort of serious droid to come...the droid X and droid pro look very good for us business users...where are they???? I don't want to jump ship.

AT&T will never get a "Droid" phone, Verizon purchased the right to use the name and nobody else can purchase it...

I'm sure AT&T will get some contenders from manufactures but it won't carry the Droid name.

that doesn't mean there aren't phones using the android operating system on AT&T, although AT&T has managed to cripple certain parts of the operating system to get the phones approved (no loading of non-market apps? Thanks AT&T!) I have a friend who has a captivate, and she loves it, although she admits it's far above her capacity to understand and utilize. But Captivate is VERY comparable to DroidX.

It's also worth pointing out that AT&T is only faster at data in SOME places,...
