When I called Motorola, they told me that Verizon is the best contact for the release date...so I wouldn't really count on that email they sent you. When you call Verizon, they don't have the exact date confirmed, but I hear 4/1.

Is it just coincidence that the date is April Fools day? LOL

talked to a motorola rep when she waas in the VZW store and she said this is there low end camera phone and would be on sale for around $100 with a contract thru verizon!! The 710 is VZW's version of the v600 that at$t has out now and is Motorola's high end camera phone available for $250 from what the rep told me. She also said that the 810 will be out before may 1st and the 710 is due to be out by June or July 1st at the latest.

Don't hold your breath waiting for this phone. We just returned all of our test units to Motorola due to design flaw issue. When you have the antenae extended it is in full view of the camera lens, show along through the right side of the picture frame. So this phone will most likely be redesigned.
